Luthadel The capital city of the Final Empire and home to the Lord Ruler's palace, Kredik Shaw. With thousands of skaa workers and hundreds of nobles, the city is a crowded place. Everyday, skaa push the fallen ash into the river Channerel, but still the streets are stained black. While the nobles stay in their magnificent, luxurious keeps, the skaa are forced to live in tiny tenements, packed in as tightly as possible. Here, so close to the Lord Ruler, the political games between the nobles are more dangerous than any other city. Underground thieving crews stalk the shadows, ready to rob any noble foolish enough to fall for their schemes. Sub-boards: Keep Venture, Keep Elariel, Keep Lekal, Keep Tekiel, Keep Hasting |

Kandra Homeland The homeland of the kandra is located near Luthadel, in the same mountain range as the Pits of Hathsin. It's underground and formed by a series of tunnels and caverns, the most important being the Trustwarren, where meetings and other important functions take place. |

Pits of Hathsin The Pits of Hathsin are a prison for the Final Empire's worst criminals. No one knows where the pits are or what they really are: a mine for atium. No one but the Lord Ruler, the occupants of the Pits, and the House Venture, who runs them. Every day, the prisoners climb down into the narrow crevices in the ground and reached into the jagged-walled holes, searching for atium geodes. If they don't find one per week... they're killed. |

Now, these "streetslots" have become the main roadways of the city. Ladders lead up to the streets above, but almost no one walks the top streets. |

Terris Mountains The Terris Mountains are actually north of the Northern Dominance. The people there are strictly controlled by the Lord Ruler. Breeding programs were set in place to try and eliminate feruchemy, and most Terrismen become stewards for nobility. |

Conventical of Seran Built from dark stone, this fortress is the headquarters of the Canton of Inquisition. The building has no windows, leaving the inside completely dark. The walls have steel plates bolted to them, buffed to create shapes and patterns. There is a staircase that leads upstairs to the Inquisitor's quarters and another that leads down to the "torture chamber" where new Inquisitors are made. |
