It was just a normal day. Nothing special, no interruptions. Duncan didn't mind it one bit.
The sound of a hammer clashing against metal forcefully sounded throughout the smithy as the smith was hard at work. He was shaping a hot piece of metal, holding it steady with some tongs as he formed it into the shape of a pickaxe. He was filling out an order for his sister and her miners. She needed more tools, since hers were beginning to get old and she had gotten some new workers. He had agreed happily, and began filling the order as soon as possible. Now he stood over his main anvil, pounding away continually for a few solid minutes. He didn't need many breaks when shaping metal, which was an impressive feat. It meant he finished orders quickly. Already, he finished the current pickaxe head he was working on and plunged it into the waiting bucket of water next to him. Steam rose up instantly and an angry hiss filled the air before settling down. Duncan pulled the piece of metal out, cooled down now, and set it with the others. He only had a few left to go. Smiling faintly, he grabbed another ingot and placed it within his forge, waiting for it to heat up and soften for him to shape. But then he heard a knocking on the door of his smithy and his smile faded. He glanced back at the door. Now who could that be?

Don't worry about it. I honestly should be focusing on school anyways Xd
