Kol swept the coins he'd counted out into his hand and then dropped them onto her open palm. "It's all there."

Bree nonetheless counted, shifting the coins so she could see them all. He wasn't lying. All the money was there. Satisfied, Bree retracted her hand with the money and extended her hand with the vials. "Lemme guess, you can use allomancy?" She mused, starting to put the coins in order on her desk

Kol took the vials and slipped them into a pocket. He gave her a faint, sly smile. "Wouldn't you like to know," he said. "Thanks for the metals. Perhaps I'll come back if I ever need more."

Bree only nods, grabbing her quill again. "Bring more coin, and you've got a deal." She answered, going back to her papers

"Perhaps I will, Bree," he said. "Perhaps I will." The formality had vanished from his voice, but he left her office without giving her a chance to say more. The thud of his boots receded down the hallway, eventually punctuated by a closing door.

(He could come back, like he said. Something interesting needs to happen, though... Like he asks for a ridiculous amount of metals, making her suspicious.)

(I will)
Kol swore under his breath as he peered down at the street. Two soldiers walked by, hurrying to get to their posts before night completely fell. Despite the common fear of the mists, many soldiers were 'desensitized' to it in their training. Someone had to patrol the streets, even at night.
Once the soldiers were out of sight, he dropped and coin and used it to slow his descent to the ground. It was late, later than his first visit, and he just hoped she was still there.

Bree was in fact still in her office, listing off a rather successful mining run. They had gotten plenty of iron, and a few other metals as well. However, she was ready to turn in for the night soon, almost finished with everything. But then she heard something and glanced up, frowning. Someone was here at this hour? Who?

Kol tried the doorknob but found it locked, unsurprising considering the hour. He glanced over his shoulder once before bending down and quickly picking the lock. He flipped inside and let out a slow breath. He just hoped this woman would receive him and not toss him back out into the mists.

Bree was just going toward her door when he entered. He expression darkened with a frown and she crossed her arms over her chest. "What do you want?" She asked in a growl, glaring hard at him with piercing blue eyes. If he was here to steal, she would beat him senseless. And she probably could too, given her build and strength

Honestly, he wanted a place to hide out for a few hours. He doubted she'd agree to that, though, so he said, "Metals. It's kind of urgent. And no, I'm not here to steal from you." He could see the suspicion in her eyes.

Bree glared at him for a few heartbeats. Finally, she exhaled and pinched the bridge of her nose. "My office. Now." She said, turning and heading back to the room and taking a seat with a sigh. "What metals you want? Same?" She asked

Kol grimaced. His answer was definitely going to raise an eyebrow, but he needed the metals. "All of them. Mostly pewter and tin." He didn't know the next time he'd get a chance to buy metals and, well, he was in a bit of trouble. The kind that gets people killed.
