Nathan quickly picked up on the exhaustion in her eyes, but he pushed her for a little longer. Eventually, he decided to call it a night. "I'll see you tomorrow, same place same time. And I'll get a message to Nikolai to see how the outfits are coming."

Alicia paused a moment, looking at him. She nodded as she listened to his words and started off.

Nathan her go, a curious look in his eyes. Did she ever speak? He wondered if that was just a choice, or if she really couldn't. At this point, it didn't really matter. Once Alicia had gone, he returned to his own home, which was a few streets down from Keep Elariel.

Alicia arrived the next night, entering the warehouse. It seemed to be empty so she sat at the table, in her usual place.

The door opened a minute later, Nikolai shuffling in with two neatly folded bundles. He glanced up at Alicia when he noticed he wasn't the only one there. "Ah! Hello there Chatty Cathy. Good to see I'm not the only one who came early." He said, walking over while holding the bundles under one arm. As he passed her, he placed one of his packages in front of her on the table. "That's for you, but best not to open it until the boss shows up. It's a joint surprise for him and for you." He said as he placed the other bundle where Nathan had sat last time before Nikolai moved to his own isolated seat with a small sigh.
Through thick and thin, he had managed to get the disguises done. He had gotten an absolute flood of people coming to his shop since he made that dress for Lady Adelaide. It was good for business, but not for Nikolai's mental health.

Alicia observed him as he walked in, giving a crooked smile when he called her 'Chatty Cathy.' She almost opened it until he warned her against it, then sat back in her chair and waited.

Nate was--unsurprisingly, for people who knew him--late arriving at the warehouse. He was also somewhat drunk, though he'd definitely been worse. "Ah, wonderful," he said. "You're both here already. Did you bring the clothing?" he asked Nikolai.

Nikolai's glanced up when he entered, and could tell he had been drinking with one glance. Wonderful. The boss was drunk. Nikolia let his dispproval show. "Yes, I have them. It's by your seat." He answered with a nod of his head to indicate where
