(No, not really xD)
Ava drew up her lip in disgust as she looked around, but didn't say anything.
"Ah, yes. We have his item ready. I assume you have the money?" the woman croaked.

(Hmm.... Jon. Lol)
Kol nodded. "Of course." He pulled out a coin pouch from under his cloak that had been tied to his belt. "It's all right here."

The woman took the coin pouch an inspected it suspiciously before handing them a small, nondescript box.

Kol nodded to her, though his curiosity was piqued by the box. What had his friend sent them to get? He hoped he wasn't carrying anything too valuable. He'd rather not get killed playing errand boy.

She blinked at the box but walked out of the store.

Kol ushered her out of the store and back into the dark alley. Now all they had to do was get the box back to the hideout. Simple enough, right?

Not as simple as he thought, though. As soon as they were in the alley, a shadowy man jumped out and attacked Kol with a glass dagger.

Kol knew better than to shout in alarm on a dark street in Luthadel, but he did gasp in surprise. He threw himself back, instinctively burning tin and pewter. The night lit up around him, tin enhancing his eyes and his ears as he focused on his attacker. The second metal strengthened his muscles and his reflexes, preparing him to fight.

The man slashed with surprising strength, very close to cutting Kol. Ava burned tin and pewter so that she could see him better.

Kol drew his own weapon and slashed back, merely testing the man right then. He briefly burned steel to see if this man had any metal on him. If he knew he was dealing with mistborn, he would have left behind armor, coins, or jewelry.

The man didn't have any metal on him, and his glass dagger was perfect for fighting an allomancer. He slashed again, dodging Kol's attacks.

Kol swore and knocked aside the man's arm, just barely preventing the glass from slicing his skin. He lifted his leg and, with the raw power of a man burning pewter, kicked his attacker into the nearest wall.

The man grunted but recovered after a moment, slashing once again. He was a bit bruised, though.

Kol's eyebrows pinched together. He didn't have time to fight this guy. He dodged again and then called out to Ava. "Are you good at flying?" Hopefully this man wasn't mistborn and couldn't follow them over the city in a series of steel-pushes and iron-pulls.

"I can manage," she replied, following after him. The man cursed and ran below, surprisingly fast.
